It’s with great excitement that I announce that I have joined FamilySleep.com as an Associate Sleep Consultant! Along with long-time, 15+ years experienced, Founder and Sleep Consultant, Debra Pedrick, I am helping families get the much needed rest they need in order to live a happy, restful and healthy life.

What is FamilySleep.com?

FamilySleep.com is a place where you can find solutions and support if you are experiencing difficulties with your children’s sleep. You will find in-depth information covering: the most common sleeping challenges in newborns to school aged children, sleep tools, books and the latest children’s sleep news. You will also find a choice of services, from face-to-face to phone and email consultations.

Affordable Baby and Toddler Sleep Training Packages

You can choose from very affordable face-to-face, phone and email consultations.

Package 1:  Email Consultations

Email consultations are great when you need some quick advice or direction on a specific area of sleep. For example: how to start scheduling naps, transitioning from two naps to one or one nap to none. Email consultations are also helpful to use when you want to make sure that the steps that you are taking to establish healthy sleep habits are indeed the right ones. Nothing is more reassuring then to have someone to talk to and to be able to voice concerns or frustrations when your children are going through rough periods.

(if you are seeking advice for more than one child ask that you do a separate consult with the exception of multiples)

One day of email: $35.00

Three days of emails: $80.00

How Do Email Consultations Work? Whether you decide to use one or three days of emails after the first day of emailing we will have already ironed out a plan and you feel confident and knowledgeable about implementing the plan. I check my emails a couple of times throughout the day. Typically I send out between 3-4 email responses within one day for each day of emails. If you choose to do a 3 day package of emails you do not have to use these days of emails consecutively but I do ask that you use them within 2 weeks of the purchase date.

Email Me Directly and let me know whether you will be getting the 3 day package or just one day of emails. I will then send you an Intake form for you to fill out. Or just shoot me a call at 917 715-6415

Once I receive your request, I will send a paypal invoice (within 3 business days – Monday – Friday EST) to you requesting payment and then we can begin your consultation.

Package 2:  Phone/Skype Consultation Package/With Support

Returning Clients: Receive $50 off additional phone and face to face consults.

Phone or Skype sleep consultations are perfect for the family who is really at the “end of their rope”, is at a complete loss as to how to go about making changes to correct the sleep problems and the problems have been going on for quite some time. The family needs to talk to someone over the phone or through Skype so that they can discuss in detail the issues they have been facing with their family. If you are interested in doing a consultation through Skype you will have to download the program to your computer. In order to use Skype you will need a video camera and microphone.

(If you are seeking advice for more than one child an additional cost of $100 per individual will be added to the total cost of the package, with the exception of multiples)

What’s the process?

Once I receive your email we will come up with a time to talk convenient to your schedule

The Intake form:

I will then send you an intake form for you to fill out which contains detailed questions to help prepare me for our talk and keep the evaluation focused on the pertinent areas.

The Talk:

I will spend about an hour or so asking further questions, listening, analyzing and evaluating your situation and concerns. Once all the information has been assessed I will have a plan for you to implement, a plan which is agreeable to both parents and a plan which is clear and easy to follow.

Follow-up Phone Calls: x4 (15 minutes each)

Follow-up support is a critical component to success. After our initial talk we will calender in our “touch base” calls which will all occur within the first week of implementing the plan. Staying on top of the situation and having close contact and support is one of the most valuable resources a family can have during this challenging time.

Follow-up Email Support: 1 week

During the second week, even though most families are feeling confident and things are really starting to come together, my families love having that extra week of support just to touch base and to get that reassurance from me that things are right on track or just being able to continue that support and guidance is of such value to parents.

Cost: $295 (+$100 for each additional child) multiples will not incur this additional cost.

Evenings after 9pm EST and/or daytime hours, Possible Weekends/Saturday and Sunday day and evening options at an additional cost.

Email Me Directly so we can make an appointment to talk. Or give me a call at 917 715-6415

Package 3:  Face to Face Consultation Package/With Support

Just like phone consultations, face to face consultations are perfect for the family who is really at the “end of their rope”, is at a complete loss as to how to go about making changes to correct the sleep problems, but in general feels that having someone come into their home will make it easier to for them to talk about their situation and show first hand some of the issues that they are facing.

(If you are seeking advice for more than one child an additional cost of $100 per child will be added to the total cost of the package, with the exception of multiples)

How do we go about fulfilling our children’s need for healthy sleep?

•Relax… work with your child’s need for sleep, be confident, when you lay your child down to sleep at all times you are doing it because your child is asking you to do it.
•Treat sleep as you would food. You wouldn’t deprive your child of food or make your child wait to eat if she’s hungry.
•Respect your child’s need for sleep and try to work daily routines and rituals around that need. Children’s sleep needs are different from that of adult’s

Many parent’s I work with initially lack confidence in their parenting abilities. I think due to all the media and press covering parenting issues parents have somewhat lost their ability to look at the obvious and trust their own instincts.
